Golden Hour is a community before it's a website. These six agreements are what everyone, members, hosts, and newcomers, commits to when they RSVP. Read them once, live them every party.

Everyone starts somewhere.
No question is too basic. If someone asks what a pick-and-roll is, you answer with warmth, because six months ago that was you, or it will be you at the next Valkyries game.

Women-first, not women-only.
Golden Hour is built for the women, non-binary, and trans fans the sports world tends to overlook. Allies who show up to make room, not take it, are welcome at every party.

Public spaces only.
Every gathering happens at a bar, café, restaurant, park, or community venue. No private residences, ever. It keeps things safe, accessible, and easy to leave.

Hosts are checked, not gatekept.
First-time hosts do a quick verification call so we can confirm a real person behind the profile. After that, host as often as you like.

Talk hoops, not hot takes.
Debate the rotation, roast the refs, argue about Steph vs. anyone. Personal attacks, misogyny, racism, homophobia, or transphobia get you removed, first time, no warning.

Consent is the whole vibe.
Ask before photos. Respect a 'not interested.' If someone leaves early, that's a full sentence. Hosts step in when something feels off. That's the job.
Something feel wrong? Tell us.
If a host, member, or venue crosses a line, message us and we'll act within 24 hours. Reports are confidential. You can stay anonymous to the person you're reporting, always.
